Vilnius, the city born from the legend of Iron Wolf, popular for a unique variety of architectural heritage and European capital of culture in 2009, invites you to take part in a walking tour around the Old Town of Vilnius, which was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Regular guided two-hour tours of the Old Town, starting from the cathedral bell tower, are organized every day by the Vilnius Tourist Office from 15 May to 15 September. The tourist office can also arrange pre-booked guided tours and offers audio guides that people can rent and listen to their own as they walk along the streets of Vilnius.

If you like walking, you will find the tourist friendly places of Vilnius to be quite accessible by foot. The central old quarter of Vilnius is compact and most of the main sights can be visited on foot.
